This farm-themed baby shower was planned by Operation Shower in Atlanta, a non-profit organization that hosts showers for expectant military families.
Operation Shower was founded in 2007, and over the years has hosted showers for thousands of military families, thanks to the overwhelming support of individuals and groups across the country. I was honored to be part of the decor and implementation team for this beautiful service project.
After all, the military moms who hold it all together at home deserve a party!
The Decor
While “country farm” isn’t normally where my personal style leans toward, this farm baby shower really came together with some fun details! Rag tie fabric garlands on the chairs, and a colorful bandana dessert table garland added texture and brought the country feel that the decor brief called for.
The centerpieces were festive with chalkboard rooster silhouettes, plush chickens and fresh vegetables spilling out of baskets. Fresh-picked farm florals complemented the table setup perfectly!
The guests were served boxed lunches with gingham napkins and adorable printable touches that really brought the theme together. The modern farm cake and vibrant & colorful hand-painted farm cookies made sure the celebration ended sweetly!
